More about her than the story of there love. Think she should have been more pro-active in her portfolio and her family's. She was infatuated.

I enjoyed this

I have a feeling a lot of reviewers on here didn't actually read this book. While this is by no means a literary masterpiece, it wasn't nearly as terrible as everyone on here makes it out to seem. It's also not nearly as raunchy or shameless or embarrassing as people seem to say.... It was a quick read. The writing is very straight forward. Weinstein makes it very clear from the get-go that she's pissed off and she's doing what she has to in an effort to make up for the money that was stolen from her by Bernie Madoff. She doesn't waste too much feeling sorry for herself, nor does she spend much time searching for reason or insight. This is by no means a "here is what I've learned from the tragedies in my life" sort of memoir. All Weinstein is doing is telling her story as it happened. What I enjoyed most about the book is that Weinstein doesn't paint herself out to be perfect. If anything, she does just the opposite. She is fully aware of the mistakes she's made and the stupid things she's done. I wish her all the best as she rebuilds her life.

If you want to " share" at least make it interesting

I admit to looking forward to reading " Love, Money, Bernie and me" I love gossip, ok? I paid retail to amazon.. so this is legit.
AND i am very interested in the Madoff story.
Weinstein takes a long time to get to the only three or four interesting parts of her story: the sex with Madoff and his fear of his wife finding out. The rest, about her husband's temper, studying accounting, taking her kid to school, and working for Hadassah were on a level that no one would read for any reason.
SO she remembers what rooms at a hotel looked like. Ok - fine. Hs remembers meals in hotel restaurants... right, honey.
But tell us the REALLY Interesting parts.. She " climaxed" - so great to know.. but what about bernie?? That she taught herself to masturbate to orgasm is a little more than i needed to know but good for you sweetie. Took you enough years, didn't it?
Not even a tiny gift did she get. Oh, a SILVER pin from tiffany..
She is a woman who feels terribly sorry for herself and , indeed screwed up her own her family's and hadassah's money - ok - a lot of people fell for MAdaff..
but dying to get into bed with him and then admitting she really wanted the trips and the goodies.. she gives away more than she thinks, and she is a BORE!
Much rather hear from Ruth herself.
